The day all you fashionista’s have been waiting for has finally arrived. Tonight at Cape Town Fashion Week Stefania Morland will be exhibiting her oh so beautiful 2011 spring summer range. Over the last couple of months the studio has been very busy with lots of helping hands preparing for tonight, mixing colours, prints and embellishments together, you are in for a delightful and fabulous experience. Stefania’s creative genius along with her daughter Shana Morland’s creative talents, the two imaginative minds have collaborated what will be an unforgetable show!  This year Stefania’s spring summer range is inspired by birds and they’re natural habitat, including specific bird colours and their significant meanings. The audience will be spoilt for choice when they see the breath taking garments coming down the runway.

This show promises to be as exciting as all her previous shows and definitely will be taking flight:)

With one month to go untill fashion week, the studio is hard at work creating pieces that are going to blow you away, all very exciting and the colours will definately brighten up your day. We have three interns that have joined us, this week Salva Dembele from Mozambique, Liz Stone from Fedisa and Kinvara from Bridge House, all sharing a love for fashion and design. With lots of helpers, the studio is filled with inspiring fashion goers.

The 2011 summer range is inspired around birds and their natural being showing off beautiful colours, styles, accesories and ofcourse feathers. Another attractive and timeless range that promises to bring a new meaning of life and play into fashion.

The perfect triumph is to be most vividly and perfectly alive, just like a bird.

July the 16th is when its all happening, venue and time to be confirmed. Watch this space.

Anna-belle went on yet another wonderful journey with photographer Lambro Tsiliyiannis.

Lambro Tsiliyiannia took anna-belle to a burnt out hillside past bakoven and was intrigued by the starkness of the burnt landscape and the remains of the trees and found that anna-belle in her organic state contrasted and mirrored the landscape in tone,  and mood and became an epitomy of being moved from the human form embodiment she may represent.

Lambro felt that it would be more realistic not to have human forms representing anna-belle as this would detract from her essence.

The second image of anna-belle was taken on the bakoven rock which very much has the power of the ayres rock in Australia, Lambro walked down the rocks with anna-belle instinctively looking for a place that may convey her organic resonance, with the sun three minutes from setting, he saw the most intriguing mixture of anna-belle in the earths elements, tufts of sea grass,sand and the granite rock, the suns last rays touched ever so lightly to expose the subtlety of her design and fabric pattern and texture, she passes a vertable earth life.

A beautiful show!

Red Carpet Concept hosted a magical fashion show at the 15 on orange african pride hotel on the 20th of May, it was a very successful and beautiful event. The clothes that were modelled at the show are now available in the store which is at the 15 on orange hotel, shop 2.

Here are two pictures of the hostess’s of the evening, dressed beautifully in Stefania Morland showing off her creativity and the elegance of her clothing!

A beautiful diamond ring has made its way to Stefania morlands shop. The ring was made by jewellery designer Ida Elsje from Green Green Cat Olive. it is a unique ring and was made and designed specially for the right client! It is a platinum and diamond engagement ring with a semi cut rough diamond. It is a platinum solitaire ring, with a half round shank of 4mm wide and 2.5mm high. Ring size is medium and is 15,65ct.

The price is R206,000,00

Stefania was approached to do a fashion installation for the World Economic Forum held at the stadium on the 5th May. The world economic forum is attended by the worlds top 600 businessmen for a series of forum discussions. This was a wonderful opportunity for Stefania, as she got to think out the box, and do a collaboration of unique embellishments and play around with different designs and styles.

The opportunity for Stefania’s unique brand to be shown on the runway of a very important international event showcased her creativity, passion and status.
